I have enjoyed drawing since I was young.  The sketches shown here are from a trip to Europe I took in 2002.  It was my first trip out of the United States and I remembered that Swiss architect Le Corbusier said that cameras get in our way of seeing things.  So, I took a sketchbook and would sit in city squares or beneath buildings and capture the impression of what I was finally seeing first hand.
