In the fall of 2009, I enrolled in the wood furniture program at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, TN. What was intended to be a one-semester endeavor and ended up altering what I wish to do with my career. Since the building projects I was involved with over the summers in architecture school, I have sought a way to get back to working with my hands.
